Dakota Plaza is a 21,800 square foot retail center located approximately 15 minutes northwest of downtown Austin on the corner of Anderson Mill Road and Morris Road. Construction on the 100% tilt wall and glass building began in June 2007, and the shell was completed around Labor Day 2008. The center is currently 55% leased and 11,900 square feet will be occupied September 2009.
The center is well-located approximately halfway between U.S. 183 and Parmer Lane. Anderson Mill Road is a six-lane divided thoroughfare traversing upper/middle income neighborhoods. Ronald W. Reagan Boulevard to the east now extends to Georgetown, increasing traffic considerably.
The Nolan Ryan Sports Complex located behind Dakota Plaza to the north is accessible only by using the traffic signal on the SE corner of Anderson Mill and Morris Road. A Vineyard non-denominational church is being built between the plaza and the sports complex. A new 400 unit class A apartment complex is across Anderson Mill Road on the SW corner of Anderson Mill and Morris. Both Live Oak Elementary and Deerpark Middle School are just down the street to the west on Anderson Mill Road. Freescale Semiconductor is conveniently located nearby on Parmer Lane.
